About the Cork & Wine Experience
Enjoy a unique Cork & Wine Tasting Tour close to Évora, where nature, sustainability, and tradition come together in an unforgettable rural experience.
Cork oak forest covers 75% of our estate, making it a perfect example of one of the most sustainable agricultural systems in the world. During this experience, you will learn about the importance of cork production in Portugal, its environmental impact, and the traditional methods that have been preserved over generations.
Hop into a jeep tour across our 800-hectare estate, traveling through rolling landscapes of cork oak forests, vineyards, and native wildlife habitats. As you explore the property, allow yourself to be surprised by the rich natural heritage that surrounds you, while your local guide shares insights into the estate’s history, biodiversity, and sustainable practices.
The tour concludes at our Wine Tourism space, where you will enjoy a personalized wine tasting of four selected wines produced on the estate. The tasting is accompanied by walnuts grown on the property, offering a true farm-to-glass experience and a perfect ending to your visit.
This experience is ideal for wine lovers, nature enthusiasts, and anyone looking to discover the authentic rural landscapes of the Alentejo near Évora.

We are a group of 7 friends who visited for the cork and wine tasting tour. What a great experience!!! Catarina was a fabulous guide- we learned so much on our jeep drive through the 800 hectare (2000 acre) property--about the long history of the quinta, the beautiful groves of cork trees, the vineyards and all while seeing flocks of sheep and fields of wildflowers. It was a fun, informative and delightful experience and at the end we tasted some lovely wines. We highly recommend this experience- it was a fun and wonderful afternoon!

We took the 4*4 tour of the property, followed by a tasting of the house wines. Our guides, Marlene and Catarina, knew everything about the property and the wines! Really worth the experience, very different from the others!

Hats off to Catarina who gave such an informative tasting across the full scope of the farm immaculate wine offerings. Cem Reis needs no introduction here, but the new Senhor Doutor single varietal red (Touriga Nacional) and the 'Field Blend' white were a fabulous surprise. Despite a no doubt inconvenient timing on my part, the tasting was never rushed. Looking forward to my follow-up visit and participating in some wine tasting - so much to learn from these experts!
