We invite you for Alentejo gastronomy. Between pans, dishes and cutlery we share and make recipes in an environment that invites relaxation!
And in our menu never misses typical ingredients of a traditional Portuguese table: a glass of wine, a good conversation and an informal and intimate atmosphere that makes us feel at home surrounded by friends.
The Cooking Class will happen in Reguengos de Monsaraz in a cozy kitchen in a smart apartment!

What a magical evening with Andre and Filipe. It was a hot day in the region so we prepared and then dined on a fabulous and hearty gazpacho and fried mackerel while sipping delicious chilled wine from the region. We heard many stories of the area and their growing up experiences. Both of them are very kind and thoughtful people with great humor. Childhood friends with a vision to share their favorite meals, not just Portuguese but from the region, Alentejo, not too much different than the ways their Grandmother’s prepared them, but with a Chefs flair. We will recommend them to our friends.ould love to go back! 👌
We really enjoyed our evening with Andre and Filippe, their hospitality made us feel at home during the evening. The dishes we prepared are easy to take home and try again. We liked the fact all products we used were biological or local. Everything was well prepared and executed. The whole evening felt informal and we were not treated as tourists, but like frieds who have a good time together! We would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to “taste” a bit of real Portuguese gastronomy, culture and hospitality!
Our hosts were charming, knowledgeable, and eager to please. The meal was designed carefully to reflect Alentejo and the day’s weather: starting with cheese and jellies, followed by an outstanding chilled authentic Alentejo gazpacho with chorizo & sardines— and closing with a floating merengue dessert. The wine and sangria were a perfect complement. Our hosts carefully showed us how to prepare the food and we learned about Alentejo cuisine and culture. We can’t wait to share the recipes we learned with our friends and family at home. Throughout the evening, wine and conversation flowed easily. We stayed late enjoying the company and the rural farmhouse setting! Thank you to our new friends André and Philippe. We highly recommend this experience. ❤️
