Discover how Sustainable Animal Farming works!
Dedicated to breeding Barrosã breed cattle in pure lines, our animals are born and live in the countryside, with the green herbs of Minho pastures being their main food. As a supplement, in order to obtain a more balanced diet, they are also fed with hay and corn produced on our farm. In addition to creating excellent meat, our farm promotes an increase in atmospheric carbon fixation through the growth and photosynthesis processes of herbs in our permanent meadows and temporary crops sown to feed cattle. The biodiversity of our pastures, complemented by cereals, results in healthier and tastier meat. This process respects the natural cycle and way of life of our animals, which are undeniably adapted to the region.
