This Cataplana experience includes a guided visit to the Municipal Market of Lagos, where you will personally select the freshest ingredients alongside your dedicated chef.
All ingredients and traditional Cataplana cookware are provided, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the preparation of this iconic Portuguese dish in a private, hands-on setting.
After the experience, you will receive a PDF copy of the recipe, so you can recreate the Cataplana at home and relive the flavors of the Algarve.
The experience concludes with a complete meal, including a starter, dessert, water, and two glasses of wine per person, enjoyed in a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.

My husband and I took a class to learn how to make Cataplana. We had a fantastic experience. The chef's were a mother and daughter team (both amazing women, we not only learned how to make the dish, we had a spectacular evening. If you're lucky enough to get the opportunity to take this class do not hesitate, it will truly be memorable!
