Step into the heart of Portugal’s wine country and live a day as a true winemaker during the harvest season. This immersive 6-hour experience takes place in a picturesque vineyard near Viseu, where you’ll join local experts for an authentic grape-picking adventure.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed with coffee, fresh juice, and regional delicacies. You’ll then head to the vineyards, scissors in hand, to learn the art of selecting and cutting grape bunches alongside seasoned harvesters. Enjoy a traditional snack in the fields before visiting the winery to discover the secrets of winemaking — from grape destemming to the iconic foot-stomping ritual.
A hearty traditional lunch awaits at the charming Casa do Forno, paired with wines produced on the estate. The day continues with hands-on activities, wine tastings, music, and plenty of moments to create memories — ending with a bottle of wine to take home as your personal harvest souvenir.

Cheers to a hard-working wine producing family! We showed up without a reservation, and the owner happened to be by the place... he was more than happy to welcome us and introduce us to the hard work put into producing an amazing wine using traditional a technique to develop a pure wine. After beings turned away from more afluent wineries (since not having reservation or arriving with a "tour")... from barely tasting the quality of their wine and possibly buying or at least recommending it to others, the farmer introduced us into their personal life and daily activities. Hope all can have an experience as ours to meet a REAL farmer pasionate to grow and deliver the best quality product they can!
In viaggio attraverso il Portogallo abbiamo pensato di fare una piccola deviazione e fare tappa nella regione del Dão, ne è valsa veramente la pena! Abbiamo incontrato Jorge, che è stato veramente gentile a darci un appuntamento per il pomeriggio dello stesso giorno anche se non avevamo (colpevolmente) prenotato. Dalla visita della cantina emerge una filosofia del vino dall'identità ben definita, che vuole esaltare la qualità dell'uva e produrre vini strutturati e longevi. Jorge ci ha dato ampie spiegazioni su tutta l'attività della cantina, dalla fermentazione spontanea all'invecchiamento in botte, fino alle sperimentazioni sulla vinificazione "orange". La degustazione degli ottimi riserva è stata la degna conclusione di una bella esperienza, che consiglio a tutti gli amanti del buon vino. Grazie Jorge per l'accoglienza!
