Located in Estremoz, near Évora, in the heart of the Alentejo, this winery is a Portuguese wine reference. Combining traditional Alentejo architecture with modern vinification technology across the entire wine production process, the estate has activity in several regions, including Alentejo, Ribatejo, Beiras, Douro and Vinhos Verdes. The day begins with a visit to the belvedere next to Estremoz castle, with its panoramic view of the vineyards, followed by picking of the grapes and traditional treading in marble presses. After a guided tour of the winery, where the entire vinification process will be explained, a regional Alentejo lunch will follow, accompanied by the estate’s wines. Take part in the production of a great wine!
What is included
- Live the Alentejo harvesting experience. Starting at a perfect viewpoint in Estremoz, you’ll have the chance to harvest and allong with the workers pick your own grapes. Next, is the foot trodding in open marble troughs “lagares” and then lunch at the Winery (select one of the two menus).
