Have a special Grape Harvest Experience close to Porto!
Enjoy the grape harvest season in a vineyard close to Alijó, where you will find an interactive museum that allows you to know the history and culture of vineyards and wine in the Alto Douro region.
Our vineyard is located in the beautiful village of Favaios, commonly known as a wine-growing village, for the designation awarded in 2001, by Unesco. Here you can glimpse the landscapes and know all the secular traditions related to the wine production, enjoy a traditional wine lunch and do some grape harvest activities.
What is included
- Reception. We start the day with a visit to the winery gardens, accompanied by our very fresh Moscatel white wine, to the sound of the concertina;
- We will go to the vineyards where the grapes will be cut and transported to the winery, accompanied by the Douro Traditional Songs;
- Traditional lunch, composed by starters, soup, main course, dessert, and drinks;
- Foot treading;
- Guided visit to winery, where you will learn about the traditional process of Port and moscatel winemaking and taste Moscatel de Honra.
