Our estate harbours one of the oldest wineries in the Douro Demarcated Region. The two buildings were erected in 1764 on different levels and still maintain their original design, with schist walls and tall, wide wooden doors, through which 550-litre Port wine barrels used to pass. Discover our wines at the estate’s wine shop and bar, where you can enjoy an outdoor terrace that offers wonderful panoramic views over the vineyard, nestled next to the Douro River. Taste our wines — some of the finest wines produced in the Douro region. For wine lovers, we also offer the chance to sample the flavours of the Dão region. We want to provide you with an unforgettable wine experience that pays tribute not only to the Douro region but also to Portugal, as a wine tourism destination. The Classic Tasting refers to a Douro wine with a strong character, finesse and elegance, and ends with a tasting of a Port wine, an emblematic tradition in the region.

This is a magical and peaceful place high up in the mountains in the Douro Valley. The Quinta is decorated quaintly and the property has multiple seating areas and walking trails in which to enjoy the 360 degree spectacular views of terraced vineyards and the Douro River. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food and wine is delicious, and oh ... did I mention the views! Treat yourself to splurge in this special place!

So peaceful. Stunning scenery and excellent wine tasting. Locally sourced fresh food. Excellent service. Wish the rain would have let up for a bit. Be prepared for a long and very narrow country road to reach the Quinta.

My wife and I enjoyed the place even though the location I’m getting there is so difficult with the service under staff the tour we took around the winery all great. The driving to the place as I mentioned earlier earlier is going through a very narrow roads need a smaller car to get through.
