A full-day grape harvest festival near Braga

In the green hills of the Minho near Braga, the grape harvest has always been more than a farming task — it’s a social event, a celebration of the land, and one of the most deeply rooted traditions of northern Portugal. This full-day harvest festival captures that spirit from arrival to closing ceremony. Guests are welcomed with a Vinho Verde de Honra and petisco, equipped with a harvester kit, and sent into the vineyard to pick grapes by hand alongside the estate team. A guided winery tour follows, then a regional lunch with a commented wine tasting. The afternoon brings a live performance by a local folk music group, and the day closes with each participant receiving their own harvester passport. Limited places. Book ahead.
