The farm is committed to the sustainable production of healthy food in accordance with ethical principles. We are certified organic since 2004 and have recently began the process of converting to permaculture.
A variety of vegetables, herbs, and eggs are produced weekly at this Portugal organic farm. The orchard of fig trees dominates the space with a succession of agroforestry zones where traditional olive and cork trees are also present.
Learn about the challenges of transforming a historical bean farm with little biodiversity into a new take on organic farming, where while remaining faithful to the local ecosystem and flora, new and innovative farming methods are being explored. See for yourself how the implementation of regenerative practices has increased the soil fertility and the impact it has on local biodiversity.
