Highlights

A genuine full day of harvest, hour by hour. From the mata-bicho breakfast to hand-picking, treading and a wine tasting finale, this covers the entire harvest ritual, not just a slice of it.

One of the Douro’s oldest, most emblematic estates. This isn’t a generic winery stop — it’s a working estate with deep roots in the region’s winemaking history.

A traditional breakfast most tourists never taste. Onion soup and baked sardines on cornbread is authentic Douro harvest fuel, a distinctive start most visitors won’t find elsewhere.

Hands-on from start to finish. You’ll hand-pick grapes and tread them yourself in the lagares — genuine participation, not observation.

Fabulous experience! Nicola Orange

I had a unique and spectacular experience participating in the Harvest (harvesting and stomping grapes). It was made even more special and complete by a delicious breakfast and a spectacular lunch served on a wonderful veranda. I highly recommend this activity because it was a complete interaction with the local wine and food experience. Congratulations to the professionals at this Quinta for the impeccable organization!
