A Traditional Grape Treading tour offers visitors a unique, hands-on experience of an age-old winemaking tradition!

The activity will begin in the morning, with you receiving your Douro kit and getting ready to join our viticulture team in the ancient traditions of grape harvesting. In the middle of the morning, you’ll have time to enjoy a snack in the “Caseiros” kitchen to recharge your batteries.

In this experience, we invite you to get to know the vineyards and the lives of those who take care of them!

Enjoy a guided tour of the vineyards, winery, vinification area and aging cellar. After the visit, in the winery, you’ll take part in the traditional treading of the grapes in marble presses. At the end, you’ll enjoy a tasting of selected wines.

Enjoy the grape harvest season close to Porto, where you will find an interactive museum that allows you to know the history and culture of vineyards and wine in the Alto Douro region.
