Do we get close to the bees and hives?
Yes. This is a hands-on beekeeping experience. You will wear a protective suit, visit the apiary, hold a frame of bees, learn to identify worker bees and drones, and even try to spot the Queen bee.
Is it safe to be around the bees?

Good simple fun, the children had the best time. The tour was so informative, and such good value - we got to learn about the bees, visit the hives (with all of the gear on!),and sample the honey!

We did the two hour tour which included visiting the bee hives. It was the best experience and I would highly recommend it. A great experience for the whole family-children and adults alike. I cannot recommend it enough.Go and visit- you won’t be disapponted!!

We were given a tour in English that lasted almot 3 hours and we learned a lot. It was fun both for the adults and the kids! Our famrer was lovely and was great with kids. We got to wear the bee suits and look inside the hives. Was definitely worth it.
