About This Cork Tour in Redondo
Experience the Alentejo countryside on a Cork Tour in a Classical Land Rover in Redondo, combining nature, tradition, wine and local gastronomy. This experience is designed for travelers who want to understand Portugal’s cork heritage while enjoying a curated wine moment and a delicious regional lunch. You’ll get a chance to purchase handmade cork products, and enjoy an informative tour enriched by commentary from your guide. After the Land Rover tour, discover the estate’s winemaking story on a guided tour of the winery and tasting room. You’ll then enjoy a tasting of the estate’s wines, accompanied by Iberian pork ham and cheese. At the end of the morning, filled with activities, you’ll have lunch at a family-run Alentejo restaurant, with a traditional menu of the region, accompanied by Alentejo wines. Adventure yourself on an off-road journey through the Alentejo’s “montado” (cork oak forest)!

Our small group of four really enjoyed the Land Cruiser 4WD tour with our knowledgable guide. Learned about all aspects of the farm and the land, history, cork, deer, bees, olive trees and more. Wine tasting was very well done and enjoyable too!

What an unforgettable experience visiting the cork farm! Our small group of 4 friends learned about the slow process of harvesting cork and the natural way the trees are allowed to grow. The Land Rover was bumpy, but worth it to learn the way this farm produces wine, grows cork, grazes black pigs and respects the environment.
