About the Cork Farm Walking Tour
Discover the Cork Farm Walking Tour with Lunch in Redondo, Alentejo, a peaceful nature-and-culture experience set on a 540-hectare farm at the foothills of Serra D’Ossa. Owned by an Anglo-Portuguese family for over five generations, this estate was originally dedicated to cork forestry and livestock, and it still reflects the authentic rhythm of rural Portugal.
After a warm welcome, you’ll lace up your hiking shoes and walk through quiet fields and cork oak forest, learning what cork is today and why it matters to Portugal’s heritage. Along the trails, you’ll pause to appreciate the landscape, local flora and fauna, and reach a hilltop viewpoint with a rewarding 360º panorama.
