About the Évora Farm to Table Experience

Discover the authentic flavors of Évora with our Farm-to-Table Experience, where the journey from soil to plate is celebrated in every bite. Nestled in the heart of the Alentejo region, this experience offers a unique opportunity to connect with the land, savor fresh produce, and enjoy the richness of local culinary traditions.

This experience is more than just a meal – it’s a celebration of sustainability, tradition, and the vibrant flavors of the Alentejo region. Whether you’re a food enthusiast, a sustainability advocate, or simply someone looking for a unique and memorable experience, the Évora Farm-to-Table Experience is sure to leave a lasting impression.

On weekdays, for lunch, enjoy a traditional Alentejo meal served in the rustic and picturesque restaurant. In a warm and welcoming atmosphere with wooden tables and benches, we offer traditional Alentejo dishes.

All ingredients are fresh, grown, and raised by us, following sustainable agroecological practices. Acorn is a gastronomic symbol of the Montado, with a history as long as human presence in the region.

The dishes are full of flavor, reflecting the true essence of the region’s ancestral cuisine.

Upon arrival at the reception, visitors will receive a map and a brief introduction. They are then free to explore the area outlined on the map, which includes the agricultural hill, the residential houses, the agroforestry areas, and the path leading to the edge of the Alentejo Montado, where they will find our Cromlech and the farm menhir.

Join us in Évora for a day of discovery, flavor, and connection with the land that nourishes us. This is not just dining – it’s a journey into the heart of Alentejo’s soul.

Highlights

Every ingredient grown on-site. This isn’t sourced from a supplier — the produce comes directly from the farm’s own sustainable agroecological practices.

A menu rooted in Montado tradition. Dishes like Acorn Stew and Neolithic Wild Boar connect the meal to the ancient history of the Montado landscape itself.

History with your lunch. The self-guided walk takes you past a genuine Cromlech and menhir — archaeology alongside agriculture, in the same visit.

A rare, limited experience. With just 10 meals available per day, weekdays only, this stays intimate rather than turning into a tourist cafeteria.
