After learning the basics—how to turn, stop, and follow the horse’s natural movement—you’ll head out on a panoramic trail through the countryside. The ride continues to the stunning river beach of Gaio Rosário, located in the Tagus Estuary Natural Reserve. Here, horses walk gently along white sand scattered with shells, accompanied by the soft sound of tiny river waves and the scent of the Atlantic breeze.
And how about a dream picnic after a wonderful horseback ride on the beach? After finishing the horseback ride, you will be surprised with our dream picnic in a boho-chic style. These snacks consist of various types of cheese, sausages, bread, toast, fruits, jams, olive pate, wine, natural juices, water, etc.

We enjoyed an amazing ride with Maddie near Lisbon. The whole experience was amazing, easy to book and the location was easy to access via taxi from Lisbon. We met Maddie and loved her immediately - it is clear she is very passionate about horses and takes good care of them. We enjoyed a lovely ride through the countryside and along the beach. Maddie was excellent company - very friendly and welcoming and we felt very safe with her. Our horses were lovely - easy to ride, responsive, well trained, and well looked-after. The venue is lovely and high quality, with beautiful local produce (for example, ham and honey) to purchase. We would highly recommend this ride to anyone looking to horse-ride near Lisbon. We hope to return one day!

I had an incredible experience! From the moment I stepped onto the property, I was warmly welcomed by a lovely lady who showed me around, helped with paperwork, fitted my helmet, and even offered me water before we set off. I went on a private beach ride and had the opportunity to gallop, which was absolutely amazing. After, they give you free coffee, drinks, etc. and you can hang out in their gorgeous villa. This was a fantastic experience, and I can’t recommend it enough! I’ll definitely be back for another trail ride the next time I’m in Lisbon.

We had a fantastic time today with maddie and the beautiful horses. My boss who is from Saudi Arabia and his son were on horseback and myself and the 2 younger children enjoyed the horse carriage. We went on a scenic route and ended on the beach with a fabulously laid out picnic. The kids played in the water and picked up shells for well over a hour. We were picked up in a vehicle and taken back to the stables. It was a great day and I highly recommend booking this activity while in Lisbon.
