Medicinal Herbs Workshop

Enjoy a Medicinal Plants Farm Experience close to Serra da Estrela!

Learn how to use medicinal plants in a 1-day workshop, with Laetitia, a herbalist-naturopath trained and certified in Canada, author of a book on herbal remedies for the family, and teacher online on the same topic. Our permaculture farm of 8 hectares is certified organic and aims at food autonomy, healthy lifestyle, abundance and biodiversity. Our mandala-shape medicinal garden is our laboratory! We also have farm animals, olive trees, other fruit trees and vineyard. We promise you will leave inspired, having met people passionate about healthy lifestyle organic agriculture, and sustainable living. After this workshop, you will be able to make your own herbal remedies and start using them safety for yourself and your family! For the lunch break a delicious, organic, vegetarian lunch will be served.

What is included:

• Arrival at the farm and welcome by the producer;
• Visit of the medicinal garden;
• Identification of several wild herbs;
• Presentation of several herbs useful for herbal pharmacy;
• Hands-on workshop – making of a herbal product;
• Organic, vegetarian lunch.
