Join a unique hands-on experience in the heart of Portugal’s olive oil heritage. At our farm, a small, family-run farm nestled in the stunning Serra d’Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park, you’ll step into the ancient tradition of hand-harvesting olives from centuries-old Galega olive trees.

Led by the farm owners themselves, this experience offers a deep connection with nature, tradition, and local culture — all while enjoying breathtaking mountain views.

Itinerary

1. Welcome – Arrival at the farm and introduction to the family
2. Harvesting Technique – Learn how olives are traditionally picked using age-old methods
3. Olive Harvest – Take part in hand-picking among the secular Galega trees
4. Olive Oil Tasting – Taste the farm’s homemade olive oil straight from the source
5. Merenda – Enjoy a rustic farm picnic with regional flavors and mountain views
