After an introduction to the local history of weaving in Castro Marim, create your own individual piece, choosing materials and colors as you go, while sharing traditional Algarve recipes and stories with your host. At midday, sit down to a slow-cooked stew of chickpeas, pumpkin, and goat, cooked over an open fire. In the afternoon, finish your handwoven piece, then wind down the day with toasted almonds and a medronho digestif by the fire as the sun sets over the hills.

- 9:30 — Meet at the local farmhouse
- 10:00 — Introduction to handloom weaving and the history of the craft in Castro Marim
