Farm History
Our farm is located in the village of Quintela, is a family farm, in the bosom of the Parque Natural de Montesinho, close to the Coroa mountain and bathed by the Tuela river.
Is a heritage farm, dated from de earlys 1900, that is continously been upgrade to provide the best enviorement to assure all good agricultural pratices
Charateristics of the Farm
Currently, the farm counts with 12 hecatres for organic agriculture, this área is divided in multlioe slopes:
We have for the main activites the cattle ranching sheep autochthonous race Churra Galega Bragança, chestnuts autochthonous Terra Fria DOP, autochthonous trees, breeds of chickens autochthonous race, hortículture, fruticulture (apple Bravo de Esmolfe and Reineta, pear marmelo), Apiculture, honey and jams.
