Guincho Bread Workshop

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. The setting near Guincho is beautiful and peaceful, and learning how to make sourdough bread from scratch was fascinating. The host explains everything in a very clear and friendly way, and getting your hands into the dough is actually very therapeutic. Seeing the bread come out of the wood-fired oven was amazing!

This experience was much more than just baking bread. We learned about sourdough fermentation, traditional baking methods, and then got to make our own bread step by step. The wood-fired oven gives the bread an incredible flavor. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the whole experience feels very authentic. I would definitely do it again

If you enjoy artisanal food and unique local experiences, you will love this workshop. The host is knowledgeable and passionate, and the process of making bread by hand is really fun. The location near the coast makes it even more special. At the end you get to taste delicious freshly baked bread straight from the oven. A memorable experience!
