Explore an organic farm and enjoy a farm-to-table lunch

Just 30 minutes from Lisbon, a certified organic farm in Mafra has been growing seasonal vegetables and fruits since 2009, delivering them daily across the Greater Lisbon area. This experience begins with a guided walk through the organic gardens, where a local guide explains the farm’s story, its commitment to sustainable agriculture, and the seasonal rhythms that govern what grows when. The tour then moves to the farm restaurant, where a full lunch awaits — couvert, starter, main course, dessert, and drinks — all prepared with freshly harvested seasonal ingredients grown on site. A complete farm-to-table journey that connects every course on the plate to the soil just outside the door.

Highlights

Farm to Fork, Literally. The lunch menu is built around what’s growing in the gardens at the time of your visit — seasonal, fresh, and harvested the same morning. This is what farm-to-table actually means.

A Farm That’s Been Growing Since 2009. This isn’t a new agritourism concept — it’s a working organic farm with over 15 years of certified production, daily basket deliveries, and a restaurant that has always cooked from the garden.

The Story Behind the Food. The guided garden tour puts the lunch in context: you’ll understand where each ingredient comes from, how it was grown, and why seasonality matters before the first dish arrives at the table.

30 Minutes from Lisbon. One of the most accessible genuine organic farm-to-table experiences near the Portuguese capital — easy to combine with a visit to the Palace of Mafra or the coast.

Scales for Groups. With group pricing for 7 or more (€65/person) and a maximum of 40 participants, this works well for corporate lunches, family gatherings, and school groups as much as for couples.

This was much more than a farm visit. It was an opportunity to understand how organic farming works while enjoying amazing local flavors in a relaxed atmosphere. Everything felt genuine and unhurried. We left with a new appreciation for sustainable agriculture and would definitely come back.
