Forty-five minutes from Lisbon, in the hills of Torres Vedras, the Casal do Vale family estate has been producing premium wine across 180 hectares of vineyard since 1980. This 3-hour tour gives you the most immersive access possible: a UMM Jeep ride through the estate’s vine rows and open countryside, followed by a visit to the traditional winery and a guided tasting of 4 wines — red, white, rosé, and others from grape varieties including Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet, and Fernão Pires. Itinerary

• Arrival at the Casal do Vale estate in Torres Vedras. Welcome from Rosa or the family. Introduction to the estate’s history, the 180-hectare vineyard, and the grape varieties grown.
• UMM Jeep tour — off-road ride through the vineyard rows, across the estate’s open countryside, and through the most scenic sections of the property. Rosa explains the different grape varieties, growing conditions, and seasonal challenges as you pass through the vines
• Winery visit — step inside the Casal do Vale traditional winery. See the fermentation tanks, the aging area, and the bottling facilities. Rosa explains the production process from harvest to bottle
• Guided wine tasting — sit down to a tasting of 4 estate wines, presented by Rosa with tasting notes, food pairing, and regional context. Varieties on the estate include Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet, Castelão, Aragonés, Syrah, Fernão Pires, and Moscatel
• Q&A and departure — open time to ask questions and, if available, purchase bottles directly from the estate
